Sarah Bush Lincoln earned Practice Transition Accreditation Program reaccreditation with distinction from the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC).

PTAP sets the standard for nurse residency programs. SBL first earned accreditation in 2021.

SBL Clinical Education offers a one-year program, and stories submitted for the reaccreditation application were collected from nurse residents who were in the program during the last four years.

The application for accreditation with distinction included additional criteria to show that SBL demonstrates exemplary and innovative practice.
